Turn Key Solution
Kestrel have set up strategic partnerships in order to provide a turn key solution for the installation of sports facilities.
Kestrel can offer everything from analysing initial project feasibility, funding bid submission, overall scheme design and planning applications right through to project management and the delivery of high class sports pitches and infrastructure.
Below are just some of the funding sources we have been successful with in the past.
Sport England
Sport England is the Government agency responsible for advising, investing in and promoting community sport to create an active nation.
Sport England exists to sustain and increase participation in community sport. This includes informal activities like aerobics and pilates; newer activities, such as skateboarding; and more traditional team sports like football and netball.
The Football Foundation
The Football Foundation was launched in July 2000, by the football authorities and the Government, to provide investment into the grass roots of football.
The Foundation represents a unique partnership of the FA Premier League, the Football Association, the Department of Culture, Media and Sport/Sport England who jointly contribute £53m that the Football Foundation distributes in grant aid.
Big Lottery Fund
Big Lottery Fund is a new organisation that will hand out half the money for good causes from the National Lottery.
Big Lottery Fund was created by merging the New Opportunities Fund and the Community Fund.
Sportsmatch
Awards For All
Awards for All is a grants programme set up to help small groups. It is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Arts Council of England, Sport England, the New Opportunities Fund and the Community Fund.
Foundation for Sport and the Arts
The Foundation for Sport and the Arts give grants to a wide range of projects to sports and arts organisations.
Other Funding Sources
Other funding opportunities through sports governing bodies such as the Football Association, England and Wales Cricket Board, Rugby Football Union, Lawn Tennis Association and United Kingdom Athletics as well as local, regional and national councils may also be considered.
