Reading Rise Indicative Of Kestrel Quality
Reading's success is a ringing endorsement for Kestrel who constructed Reading's new training ground surfaces at the start of the season.
Kestrel were contracted to construct a new training facility for Reading FC’s Training Academy. A specification was drawn up that would provide the club with a pitch that was a mirror image of the current one in place at the Madejski Stadium.
Southampton FC
Football Pitch Construction and Training Ground Renovation
Kestrel were contracted to carry out construction work at Southampton FC’s Marchwood Training Ground, performing major improvements to 6 academy football pitches and the main first team training pitch.
The football pitches were stripped off with a bulldozer, new sand was added to the existing topsoil before the pitches were re-levelled. Sand slitting was then installed prior to the playing surface being seeded.
Several training grids were constructed and a sub-base prepared for the installation of a new 3rd generation artificial surface.
Sundorne Sports Village
New Sports Village Delivered On Time and On Budget
Construction of 12 natural grass sports pitches which involved a partial topsoil strip and re-grade, drainage installation, a topsoil re-spread and amelioration, as well as the construction of a full size dynamic 60mm long pile 3rd Generation synthetic turf football pitch and latex macadam Multi Use Games Area.
The construction of a BMX and Skate Park showed Kestrel’s versatility.
Lacon Childe School
Pupils at Lacon Childe Sports College in Cleobury Mortimer, near Kidderminster are benefiting from the recently completed sports facility by Kestrel (Contractors) Limited.
The College can now boast some of the countries finest sporting facilities thanks to the work undertaken on behalf of Shropshire County Council by Kestrel.
