Kestrel have added Southampton FC’s stadium pitch to their impressive cv of complete stadium re-turfing operations, joining the Millennium Stadium, Chelsea, Fulham, Bournemouth and Walsall FC, who have all in the last few years used Kestrel for this very purpose.
New Turf Laying Machine's Baptism Of Fire!
Kestrel re-turfed the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff prior to the 2004 F.A. Cup Final between Manchester United and Millwall FC. It was the first opportunity to use the company's brand new BRL120, Kestrel’s state of the art turfing machine and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
Turf Laying at Chelsea FC, Walsall FC, Crystal Palace FC
Kestrel re-turfed the pitches at Chelsea, Walsall and Crystal Palace FC as surfaces had deteriorated significantly during the first few months of the season. Luckily the BRL120 turfing machine once again provided the right response to tight time frames and a very public pressure.
