The scope of works included a stadium rugby pitch construction with an automated irrigation system, natural and artificial turf rugby training surface construction.
The combination of natural and artificial turf pitches enables the club an ability to spread the wear throughout the season and adds the potential for much needed revenue by hiring the synthetic pitch facility to the members of the public.
Basingstoke RFC
Kestrel undertook a project on behalf of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council which involved the construction of a first XI and second team rugby pitch.
The greenfield site which was originally a cricket outfield and the scope of works included the removal of the existing vegetation, initial cultivation, primary and secondary drainage installation, sand amelioration and seed bed preparation prior to final seeding.
Lacon Childe School
The scope of the works involved 2nr synthetic pitches with fencing and lighting, an artificial cricket net facility, construction of a full specification natural grass football pitch plus a rugby pitch and a technical area which will be used for training / warm ups.
