Reading Rise Indicative Of Kestrel Quality
Congratulations to Reading FC who have secured a lucrative promotion to the Barclay's Premeirship!
Reading's success is a ringing endorsement for Kestrel who constructed Reading's new training ground surfaces at the start of the season.
Kestrel were contracted to construct a new training facility for Reading FC’s Training Academy. A specification was drawn up that would provide the club with a pitch that was a mirror image of the current one in place at the Madejski Stadium.
As well as this specification Kestrel were required to create as many high quality playing surfaces in the area provided.
The first team have been doing their match preparation on the stadium specification pitch and like the team, it’s performing well!
There were also improvements to the youth academy pitches with general renovations carried out.

Reading FC's Arborfield Training Ground
Overall Reading were delighted with the new facilities.
Head Groundsman Jem Fox stated:
‘We were extremely happy with the service Kestrel provided. The quality of the surface was first class. The players, staff and all levels of management commented on the surfaces Kestrel were responsible for and we have great confidence in the quality Kestrel can achieve. That’s why we’ll use them to carry out our end of season renovations and other maintenance work.’
He went on to add:
‘The training pitch has been instrumental in our rise to the top of the Championship and our first appearance in the Premiership! The new facilities are indicative of the standard of quality we are setting at the club and Kestrel are a part of that.’
Kestrel continue expansion
Kestrel's recent successes and growth have resulted in the formation of Kestrel (Sportsbuild) Ltd, a new subsidiary of Kestrel Contracts Group Ltd. Sportsbuild will deal with the companies synthetic 'astro turf' projects.
Kestrel (Sportsbuild) Ltd will be operating fully from August 2006 as Kestrel look to consolidate their position in the artificial sports pitch construction market.
The new addition to the Kestrel Group is seen as a way to facilitate and maximise the expected future growth of the synthetic side of the company.

Exciting New Era For Kestrel
Kestrel's sustained growth has resulted in the corporate restructuring of the company. As of February 1st Kestrel (formerly Kestrel Golf and Sports Ltd) will trade under Kestrel (Contractors) Limited.
The new structure will enable Kestrel to facilitate anticipated further growth, however essentially, barring the company trading name, there haven't been major changes, and the company's personnel remain the same.
