Sports Pitch Improvements
Cranleigh School Appoint Kestrel
In the summer and autumn of 2008 Kestrel were asked to offer proposals to upgrade the natural and artificial sports pitches for Cranleigh School, one of the most prestigious independent schools in the country.
Kestrel were awarded the high profile contract after a competitive tender process.
Kestrel's in house labour and plant combined with their ability to provide a high quality service relating to both the natural and artificial turf pitch elements of the project was certainly a key factor in securing the work.
Kestrel re-graded several areas of the grounds and a comprehensive new playing field drainage system was installed to 5 existing sports pitches.

The scope of the works for the artificial grass aspects of the contract involved the design and construction of a full size FIH approved engineered sand filled synthetic hockey surface and included the installation of a 3m & 4.5m high weldmesh fencing system.
