Maintenance

As a result of increased goverment funding and governing body approval for the use of artificial sports surfaces more and more private clubs, schools and local authorities are having artificial turf pitches built.

Taking out a maintenance contract is a good way to ensure that you get the maximum performance and longevity from your artificial surface and it is never to late to make a difference.

         

Many pitches we are called out to inspect are encountering drainage problems as a result of compacted infill and generally poor sand distribution and are worn beyond their years because of a lack of regular maintenance. This often results in a requirement for major rejuvenations or even complete overhauls in some cases.

Needless to say this can result in a considerable investment often putting the pitch out of action and costing valuable revenue.

Kestrel have also recently developed a unique machine capable of undrtaking in house maintenance for 3rd generation turf pitches.

Kestrel offer maintenance services ranging from basic monthly or bi monthly renovations which including brushing to collect surface debris, mechanical decompaction, power brushing, power deep cleaning, stiff vertibrush to even out sand and dress brushing plus the spraying of disinfectant / algaecide / moss killer.

We also carry out major renovation work such as rejuvenations, sand re-distribution and deep cleans through to minor repair works ensuring we can provide an all round service to resurrect your all weather surface.
