MUGAs have become increasingly popular with schools and local authorities over the last few years. The cost effective nature of construction, surface versatility combined with relatively low maintenance makes them a sound choice for schools that require a combination of their curriculum sports and ‘play time’ in one multi functional area.

The range of surfaces available from latex modified macadam and cushioned acrylic surfaces through to polymeric and polyurethane colour coated surfaces ensures Kestrel are in a position to offer the surface best suited to meet your needs.

Whilst Kestrel offer the construction of both MUGAs offer better value than tennis courts as they are suitable for basketball, netball, hockey, volleyball and tennis and due to their flexibility can provide income from local sports clubs and schools.

MUGAs can also be constructed with a view to a potential upgrade in the future, with the possibility of laying a new sand filled, sand dressed or 3rd Generation artificial turf over the existing surface.

They are also a good solution when installing an artificial turf pitch to offer high quality surfaces which cater for a wide range of sports rather than compromising performance by only utilising one surface.

Kestrel also offer a number of fencing systems including chain link, weld mesh and more robust rebound mesh and kickboard systems which can incorporate division netting if required as well as floodlighting to ensure we are in a position to offer a complete design and build package to suit you needs.
