Flexibility

Kestrel has a broad client base and also provides a service comprising turf replacement, reconstruction and maintenance of smaller areas of sports turf, allowing us, for example, to make goalmouth repairs and centre spot repairs mid season.

Kestrel operates independently of turf suppliers, which enables a highly flexible approach and helps Kestrel to tailor our turfing services to meet the needs of our customers.

For example, where specific turfing requirements are not available, we will commission the turf farms to grow bespoke mixes to our specifications.

In an effort to cause minimum disruption to the playing surface we can, with sufficient notice, grow the turf into manufactured rootzones, which allows them to be compatible with the playing surface onto which they are being laid.

We can provide turf grown with a variety of species including top rated ryegrass/fescue/smoothstalk meadow grass.

Loksand Turf

Kestrel offer added value by supplying and laying reinforced turf grown with Loksand.

Loksand is a rootzone with crimped fibres mixed through, which gives the turf added tensile strength.

Loksand is a tried and tested system, used in many professional football clubs throughout the UK as a high wear, high quality turfing solution, which ensures stability in the surface, even when grass cover is reduced.
