The scope of works comprised of stripping off the existing topsoil, grading the field in the formation to achieved a laser graded fall After re spreading the topsoil, primary and secondary drainage together with sand amelioration ensured that the pitches had the fundamentals in place to provide good playing surfaces.
An irrigation system ensured that the club could water accordingly
Kestrel were also responsible for growing the pitches in for the new season.
“We always like to take on the maintenance element of pitches we’ve constructed. We feel this ensures there are no grey areas between what we built and the quality of the playing surfaces.
Often at grass roots level there is insufficient expertise or know how, in how to grow in grass to a quality that complements the construction. Poor maintenance can undo quality builds in a short period of time. In effect what we are offering is quality from conception to completion”
